The Coachella Valley market place is 161th in America and even here we have twenty-two radio stations and seven television stations. Our permanent population is just a little less than a secondary market.

When it comes to finding recognition in the contemporary broadcasting scene

(we're talking national here) one might think that the local smooth jazz morning man on KJJZ, Jim 'Fitz' Fitzgerald, would be lost in a very large shuffle........ but that is not the case.

    RADIO AND RECORDS Magazine, the 'Bible' of the Music and Radio industry has just nominated Fitz for their 2003 SMOOTH JAZZ PERSONALITY/SHOW OF THE YEAR......... and check out the pack that he is running with: - the other five nominees are.............
